My Haunted House

I think my house may be haunted. I am hoping it is a friendly ghost….fingers crossed…but, I don’t think I can deny its spooky presence any longer. It’s for sure. Some unexplained phenomenon has taken up residence here at the Mamma Talk humble abode. The signs have been there for awhile…

The midnight wailing…
“Maaaa-Maaaa-Maaa-Maaa! WAAA!”

The flickering of electric appliances…
Stop pushing that button!”

The mysterious disappearance of personal items…
“Car keys?? Hmmm….Did you check my Ugg boots?”

The repetitive opening and shutting of cabinet doors…
“Yeah, of course I baby proofed the kitchen. What’s with all the questions?”

The high pitched shrieking….
Miinnee!”

The clammy nightly visitors….
“Can’t sleep, Mommy.”

The clanging of chains…
“Your music is beautiful, baby. Ummm…Can I have my pot back now? Yeah…and the ladle, too.”

The projectile vomit…
“Not again…”

The growling…
“No! No! GRRRR!”

And, I know our feline friends can sense a ghostly presence.
HISSSSS!
“Let go of Mr. Kitty’s tail, baby.”

And, sometimes I just get the creeps for no reason…
“She’s the spitting image. I’m telling ya…It’s like you gave birth to your Mother in Law.”

Should I warn the babysitter?

Boooooooo!

We have the Miiiine ghost too, and the kitty ghost, however, our kitty ghost turned into the projectile vomit ghost when he ate up all of the Miiinne ghost's stickers. What a lovely Monday THAT was!

I would die if someone told me I'd given birth to my mother-in-law. I need to go vomit just thinking about it!

It is lurking less often at my house, but once in a while it likes to rear it's ugly head.

The craziest was the toys that were possessed. We had a leap frog musical table that would sound off in the middle of the night....many times. Very eerie.

You gave birth to your MIL! I hope yours is prettier than mine - if someone told me that, I'd have to smother them. Oooh, that was nasty of me. I should watch it.

Your ghosts sound very friendly, though.

I'm with you on the clammy night visitors. For me its also the supernatural way my son can "expand" across the spanse of a queen sized bed and still manage to kick me in the head repeatedly throughout the night.
p.s I left you an award on my blog! Have a great day!

Haha! My house is haunted too. My pots and pans keep mysteriously disappearing and the next day I find them in some random place like the bathtub. Weird!

I never thought of it as haunted -- more like possessed!

What about the unexplained disappearance of every piece of chocolate that's left out in plain sight -- and everybody claims ignorance???

My ghosts hide the baby pacifier and lovey. I spend the next half and hour looking for it which cuts into her nap time.

I was bustin' at the mother in law comment! Though, I love my mil, really:)

Our most common eerie visitors are "Not Me" and "I Didn't Mean To."

There is the occasional clanging of chains and disappearance of personal items too though . . .
