It was a scene from a horror movie. A page ripped right out of Stephen King. A real life nightmare.
Much like a monster peering from a closet, these hairy toes of mine were peeking out of my flip flops.
The chipped polish. The unclipped nails. The corns. The bunions. The callouses.
Oh, my.
I tried to hide. I tried to run. I tried to scream. All, to no avail.
The Curse of Ugly Feet.
The ultimate horror flick.
Somebody, pass the popcorn…..yeah, and maybe a nail file?

Girl go get a pedicure!
Hmmmm, I feel this way as well...although, I LOVE toe nail polish as do my little girls! I have brought it on myself in that I HATE to wear shoes...then, a bloggy friend talked about the Ped Egg! A pedicure, and the Ped Egg will get your toes looking sweet and dainty...you may even have a talent scout hoping to use you for a foot model!!!!
LOL!! i just had that same horror about a few weeks ago...it's time of SUMMER CLEANING... just go and get them piggies cleaned up.
I feel your pain. I am in desperate need of a pedicure. And there really is no doing it at home either - just not the same.
Yeah! I also have this disgusting brown spot on my ankle. I look like I am dirty. The doctor says I have hyperpigmentation due to over dryness. Man, I always put on handcream. How is this possible. So sometimes I put on self tanner around the surrounding area. I wish a pedi would help.
I hate feet :p
I don't even look down! I'm in denial.
Happy 4th!!
Cindy
I'm with ya sista! My hubby offered me his power sander the other day for the callouses on my heels. I am seriously considering it.........
This post is incomplete without pictures. Just saying.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! What else could a hooker be besides a crafter? I keed I keed!
I'm suddenly feeling a little self-contentious about my ugly feet. If only we lived a little closer, I'd pick you up and we could get a pedicure together.
I used to worry about my feet. Then I realized that they could never be as ugly as my husband's.
It's all relative. I have the prettiest feet of the adults in the house and I'm going to leave it at that.
Hahaha!!! I hate it when my feet look ugly!! Clipping my toenails always makes a dramatic difference, but reaching my feet is becoming increasingly difficult as my pregnancy progresses! :o) Maybe my belly will get so big that I won't be able to see them anymore, lol!!!
I guess it is time for a girl night. I will be over with the file.
It's pedicure time! I just got one this week and oh, what a wonderful experience! Now my toes are not too scary! LOL
It is just so hard to get those feet ready! So many other parts take precedence!
I am right there with you and too cheap to pay for a pedicure.
When I was still a kid, an older friend told me it was bad luck to shave your toe hair.
It took me years to figure out that some bad luck is worth risking.
Oh gawd, I feel you on this one. I even had a lovely pedicure done, and somehow, some way, have recently managed to crack my toenail all the way to the quick - in a long, jagged line from the top down. I dread when it finally goes away - I'll have ugly toes for the duration of the summer, and nothing can be done for it.
Whimper.
I had the same experience just a few days ago. In fact i looked at someone else's toes and thought....OMG I hope mine dont look that bad. I promptly got to work on making sure they didnt

I remember pre-kids getting pedicures once/month. Now? It's been twice in two years.
I need a pedi too. Let's go. We should all do a virtual Pedi! But like, do it for real.
Were you staring at my feet?
Seriously...were you?
I hate to be the odd one out so please don't throw things, but I LOVE MY FEET and although they are whiter than snow, I think they look nice. I have a pumice that REALLY lives in my bathroom and I never have rough heels. I also don't like my toenails long, so clip and file is my middle name. Then there is the LOTION, LOTION, LOTION that I slather all over my feet and legs every time I get out of the shower.
I look at it this way, if I don't do it for me NO ONE will but EVERYONE will be quick to judge me! Isn't that just the way it is?
So my mighty whities with red toe polish are presentable. My husband needs to give my feet a massage tonight come to think of it! He is lucky to have me! Think of everything I do for him!
Come on girlies, get those piggies adorned, slough off that rough skin!
New quote..."Love thy feet!"
Me too ;)
