Chocolate Bandit

He couldn’t be guiltier if he had been holding a smoking gun.

He was standing there wearing his boxers and a lopsided grin. And, he was holding the empty box of Dreyer’s chocolate peanut butter ice cream

“You wanted some?” He asked, attempting to display belated concern.

The gall. The indecency. The lack of civility.

“Scoundrel!” I muttered under my breath, turning on a swift heel.

Now, let’s hope he doesn’t discover the missing Hershey’s chocolate bar that was hidden in his top desk drawer.

Because, that would make me a hypocrite.

Or something. No?

A big thank you to Babymakin' Machine for the lovely shout out! If you haven't been over to visit her yet, what are you waiting for? Jen is so bright, funny and charismatic.....

No, that would make you a caring wife, taking one for the team in order to ensure his longevity. Married men are always healthier because of the tender love of their wives.

And forgiveness.

A whole lot of forgiveness.

You are very kind to use a tame word like, "Scoundrel."

haha, that is so funny!
That is just like our house. Except I am the one that is ALWAYS eating all the good stuff before my husband gets any. We've had many fights over this, my argument is, "You should WANT me to have EVERYTHING", haha, I know I can be a little brat sometimes :)

You guys remind me of the Sally Forth cartoons where she always managed to find the chocolate in the house around easter and get the bunnies ears...lol!

My best, Lynn

My husband would hide his treats. He knows I look for them.

AHHHH! I gave up chocolate for Lent and it's only been 3 days and I'm dying over here! (I totally would have stolen that bar, too.)

Amazing how they try to turn it around isn't it??

Mine tilts his head and goes, "Huh?" with eyebrows up. That puppy dog look doesn't get you out of the dog house! Unless it comes w/ a DQ Blizzard...

In our house, I am able to hold out for days and then right when I cannot stand it any longer and go looking in the freezer for the ice cream, it's gone. He offers to go get some more, but he then I'd have to share it with him. LOL
