It’s been years since I’ve done anything of the sort.
But, now that I’ve given it a whirl, I’m in.
I spent the better half of the morning properly waterlogging the lower half of my body in our new wading pool in the backyard.
When my daughters first invited me into the inflatable hippo pool for a dip, I waved it off. I assumed there wasn’t room. Surely I’d manage to pop the poor thing. I shuddered at the thought of a neighbor peeking over the fence to discover me lodged between a water toy and a toddler, all white, jiggly and fully exposed.
Then, something overcame me. I threw my inhibitions to the wind and joined in the splashy, summery fun. The gals moved over and seemed to rather enjoy using my belly as a dock for their sailboats.
Seems things work out better when you sprinkle a little fun in your day….between the loads of laundry, I mean.
Gotta try it more often.
Go ahead. Dare ya.

Dagnabit! You dared us! Crap! I can't back down from a dare. :D
I was afraid to too. But the past week was soooo hot and our air was broken. So I put on a big shirt over my bathing suit. It was one of those blow up slides. I of course didn't do the slide. There is a weight limit;) I sat in it or I used the shower that is connected to it. It saved us:) I figure if people were sickened by my big stomach and cottage cheesy legs then don't look. I did the best I could with hiding them;)
I am always up for a dip... an inflatable pool or salsa. Even better? BOTH! ;0)

I did it even before I read this. And it was a total blast!
Good for you! I've been fussing and fretting about putting my large self in a bathsuit and shorts. I've put it off, and put if off...then noticed all the other moms at the beach looked just like me. Might as well join the summer fun.
Oh that does sound fun! Move over!
Love this. Good for you! I jumped in the pool with the kids on Friday. It was soooo freakin' hot I just couldn't take it anymore. Good times!

Aw, that is so cute of you :) I try to be a kid with the kids sometimes, they just LOVE it :)
It's moments like these we share with our kids that THEY will never forget :) Especially when they tell friends they used our jiggly bellies for a holding area for their boats. (I don't mean jiggly YOU, just ME)
Ah, the show did continue. I thought for sure there would be some major breakdown or two! I'm so glad the show did go on!
You're such a fun mommy!
