"Meet the Natives" chronicles the journey of five men from the remote Pacific island of Tanna as they tour the United States. These men are traditional farmers who typically wear grass skirts and sheaths (yes, those kind of sheaths). The spend their days living without the "conveniences" of modern men.
The show is done very tastefully, maintaining respect for the "native" men's culture. And, in the end, we are the ones who learn lessons from their thoughtful insights and warm humor.
Be sure to watch! This show premieres this Sunday evening, November 29 at 9 and 10 E/P.

Sounds like something my husband will love (and that I'll be forced to watch ;)
that does sound worth the watch..
Thanks, I'll have to check it out!
I watched the first two episodes. I was very intrigued by the gratefullness of the tribal men. I was very pleased to know that those people knew that a marriage is between a man and a woman. It saddens me that your station would promote the gay agenda to tell these people that this is an acceptable lifestyle. We must reclaim America for the Godly principles that America was founded on. May God Bless America
As my readers know, this is not a political blog. My only intent was to recommend some "brain food" television. I admired the comparison of the two cultures and the reminder that we are more the same than different.
However, I believe in diversity of opinion and most certainly will publish your comment.
Oh, that sounds interesting, thanks for the thumbs up!
Oops. I guess I missed it last night. But, it does sound great.
Interesting! I guess I missed it last night, but maybe I can catch the rerun and start fresh next week?
Oh man I missed it. Where on earth have I been?!
My best, Lynn
