My daughter is a blueberry bandit. True, she is passionate about most fruits.
But, blueberries?
Blueberries hold a special power over my little one. Yes, I am afraid blueberries have attained movie star status in our home.
A blueberry sighting is followed by screeching, shaking, and near hysterics.
“Booooberriesss!!”
I am afraid she is a bit of a blueberry groupie.
“I love boooberries.”
She’s proud President of the blueberry fan club, even.
“More booooberries?”
She’s quite possibly crossing the lines into blueberry stalking...
“Where’d the boooberry go?”
Some say she’s criminal in her passion.
“Sweetheart, let Mommy wipe that blueberry stain off your face.”
You don’t think this could lead to blueberry OCD, do you?
“Booberries.Booberries.Booberries.Booberries.Booberries.Booberries.”
Could this pave the way to addiction?
“Can I score some ‘boo off ya, bro?”
Hubs and I thought about going cold turkey. Pull the blueberry plug. Cut off the supply. Bite the blueberry bullet and stop the blueberry madness once and for all.
Lasted a day.
“Staaawberries?”

I'm with your daughter. Blueberries are AMAZING. Especially when combined with muffins. And blended into lemonade. I loooovvee blueberry lemonade.
Have you read her the story "Blueberries for Sal"? One of my childhood favorites, and one that I think of every time I go blueberry picking.
How timely a post for me! I actually just finished off a bowl of blueberries and cream! (real cream too, not that lowfat fakey stuff!) It was heaven! She's a smart girl!
About a month ago I ate a whole pint of blueberries. Then I went to the bathroom a bit later...We won't go any further.
Needless to say I love me some blueberries!

My youngest daughter loves blueberries the same way yours does. When we go picking them she probably eats her weight in blueberries as we made our way across the field.

What's funny is that Ben loves blueberry muffins, pancakes, pie...but usually the artifical ones. And he won't eat real blueberries alone.
At least she's obsessed with something healthy! There are much worse things right? At least you aren't hearing "bacon, bacon, bacon"!

I think they're pretty fantastic myself, and they're one of the few fruits where I'm not wondering if there might be a bug inside!
Cool! She's a Blueberrry Squealy Fan Girl! I am trying to convince my kids to be Broccoli Squealy Fan Kids...it's not workin so well...
Oh my kids are blueberry bandits too and I find myself getting annoyed because they steal all of mine! I don't really like what they do to the baby's poop though. Gross!

My oldest has been dubbed "The berry pirate" He can eat a quart of blueberries in one sitting if I let him.
