That is so true! Dating yourself with rewind is funny--we watched two VHS tapes this weekend.

Ahhhh, the good ol days when there were only play, rewind, fast forward, and pause. And the VCR was really a transformer when we weren't looking. :)

haha, dating yourself, maybe, but I would be, too, as I say it right along with you :)

Ooooh, I think this would work well for husbands, too!! Whenever he makes you angry, eject disc and insert something Brad Pitt or George Clooney filled. Actually, I choose Vin. Always a hot hunk of a man neat kinda choice.

I think the forgetting process is important so maybe leave off rewind. If I had to relive some of my sons early months in real life detail I might have a only child.

Ah yes. Wouldn't that be lovely? LOL at rewind! (what do they call it now anyway? Our tape player still works...doubt we'll ever get rid of that thing!)

I wish LIFE came with a fast forward button sometimes...

Your mind is so funny...maybe we were separated at birth and we are one of those extraordinary black/white combo twins who's parents end up on 60 Minutes explaining themselves...Well, I'm off to try and win some gift cards!

My best, Lynn

Shoot I would hit pause just to get some cleaning done.

I didn't think a thing about the rewind until you mentioned it - now I feel old!

LOL so true! There are so many times I could have used that mute button!

Thanks for leaving such a sweet comment about the baby sweater!

Cute idea....I need the rewind button for sure. My "babies" are 12 and 13 :(

Dang I never thought of how convenient it would be for kids to be like DVD players. :) Very clever!

So cute! And man, could I use a MUTE button around here!

Lol!

Oh, I have often lamented the lack of a VOLUME button on my four-year-old. :)

For myself, I sometimes need a parental control setting so that I can censor content.

Like this morning when I dropped a heavy object on my foot and then did a *facepalm* a little while later when the four-year-old lost a game we were playing and said - in perfect imitation of my earlier tone: "Damndamndamn."

Chick, you are so far outside the box....

Hee hee hee! That is funny! Do they make one for tweens?????

Oh so true. So many moments to replay and rewind. And fast forward. And no, you didn't date yourself. Because if you dated yourself you in turn dated me and I am not willing to go there.

I need a rewind on sex to make it last longer! ha ha

Yes, I DO wish that babies AND toddles were DVD players sometimes! LOL. Thanks for the giggle!

Have you ever considered stand up comedy? Your writing style seems pretty perfect for it.

Thanks so much for helping to spread the word! I appreciate the support. =)

If only.... well maybe some of it I would just let play out. We have to experience something with the kidlings!

On second thought, I think I could have really fast forwarded past 4 to 6 weeks, can you add that back in there?

Tara Bennett said...

I loved this post! In addition to the kidz part (thanks btw)... I wish for every single one of those actions to be built into Chloe on her belly button or something? That would be great. Reminds me of the movie Click. I was a skeptic, but I actually liked it!

As long as you stay away from 8-track talk, I think you're okay! ;o)

SoBella Creations said...

That would be great esp on sick days.

What's wrong with rewind?

Loved it, as always.

Hey, nothing wrong with a little rewinding.

So happy you stopped by today...you have a great blog!!!

Could we do that with co-workers too? I think the mute button would come in handy!

Oh man, I loved the mute. And the eject!
